Sage PC

Sage is a handsome 2-year-old boy, weighing around 80 pounds, with a coloring that reminds us of a Super Sized Jack Russell Terrier, though his foster mom believes he's a Labrador and Husky mix. He's already neutered and ready to find his forever family. Sage is a loyal and loving companion who unfortunately experienced abandonment when his previous family moved and left him behind. He waited faithfully for over two weeks before a kind neighbor stepped in to help, and he's now being temporarily fostered, hoping to find a permanent home. Despite his past, Sage is a calm and sweet "gentle giant" who enjoys following his people around, making him a true shadow. He's house-trained and enjoys walks and playtime, especially with his squeaky ball. He knows how to "sit" and is incredibly lovable. Sage does worry about being left again, so he's looking for a family that will cherish him forever.

Ideal Home

Sage would thrive in a home that can offer him a sense of security and love. He is good with dogs and children, having previously lived in a home with five kids and two dogs. However, he is not good with cats.

Ongoing Health

Sage is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. There are no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Sage is potty-trained and enjoys walks. While he can be a bit timid at times due to his past experiences, he is generally calm and sweet. His loyalty can manifest as clinginess, which is understandable given his history. He needs a family that will provide him with reassurance and consistent love.

Transporation

Sage is currently located in San Antonio, Texas. He can be transported out of state to approved adopters.
