Lucy June Scout

Lucy June Scout is a little over two months old and already embodies the perfect blend of an adventurous spirit and a sweet, easygoing nature. She's curious, affectionate, and confident, approaching the world with bright eyes and a quiet assurance that life is good. Lucy is a Labrador Retriever and Carolina Dog mix, weighing around 5 pounds. She's living with other dogs and has been thoughtfully introduced to new people, animals, and everyday experiences, making her wonderfully social and eager to learn. Lucy is also an experienced traveler, happily settling in for long RV trips and understanding the rhythm of the road. She's making great progress with potty training, using pads successfully and learning to go outside on grass. Lucy is proving to be a smart, attentive listener and a playful pup who is eager to learn alongside her people.

Lucy would likely thrive in a home ready for all the joy, laughter, and occasional puppy shenanigans that come with raising a young dog.

Lucy has received age-appropriate vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, and flea and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Lucy is learning house manners, leash skills, and basic commands. She is eager to take direction and learn alongside her people.

Transporation

Lucy is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system, ensuring safe and comfortable travel with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. There is an $87 surcharge for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
