Gina

Gina is a 9-year-old Border Collie/Terrier mix who has the energy of a much younger dog! Once she's settled into your home, Gina is an immediate lovebug who cherishes pets and companionship. She shows her joy with toofy smiles and a delightful "gremlin face," and she gives gentle love nibbles as a playful sign of affection. Gina is very clear about her needs; she'll whine in the mornings if she hasn't had her breakfast or gone outside. While walking, she's friendly with people and other dogs, though she can get quite excited and may bark to greet them. She might bark for a few seconds if you leave her, like when you go into another room or leave the house, but she will calm down and is content to relax at home if you can't take her with you. To help her burn off some of that impressive energy, try engaging her in a game of tug-of-war with a sturdy rope toy, offering puzzle toys for indoor play, and taking her on walks around the neighborhood or to local parks.
