About Poppy

Poppy is a smart, active, and loving dog who has made wonderful progress with her socialization. She's no longer shy and scared, and is now a willing participant in everything her family does. Poppy has mellowed and is a big lap dog who loves to snuggle. She gets along with all dogs and her best friend is a cat! Poppy is very clever and enjoys tracking and hunting, but she is very afraid of loud noises and loud engines, so hunting is likely not the job for her. She is an adorable and loving dog that is in need of a patient home. Poppy can be a little shy at first, but she is a very playful and fun dog that loves to run around and explore. She was raised with little human interaction, but she is a very smart dog that is quick to learn. She enjoys barking, but her favorite activities involve running around outside. She is an amazing companion and will be very loyal to her new family. Poppy is a little bit on the shyer side because she is still learning to trust people, but she is a gentle and loving dog that is very eager to please. If you are looking for a sweet dog that just wants to be loved, Poppy is the perfect companion for you!
