Meet Aspen!
Aspen is a playful and fun-loving 4-month-old male Great Pyrenees and Australian Shepherd mix, weighing around 20 lbs as of June 15th. He's expected to be a large dog, over 60 lbs, when fully grown. Aspen absolutely loves people and is sure to be a wonderful companion. He's a total water baby and enjoys splashing around in puddles, pools, or even just a hose. He also gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is a blast to play with. Given his young age and good nature, he's expected to do great with children and should also be fine with cats with proper introductions and training. Aspen is already doing okay in his crate, and with a smart and eager-to-please personality, he should quickly learn leash manners and house training with a consistent routine and a patient family.
Ideal Home
Aspen would thrive in a home that will cherish him as a family member. He loves to play and splash in water, so a home with access to a pool, sprinklers, or even just a yard where he can enjoy a hose would be wonderful.
Ongoing Health
Aspen is fully vetted, neutered, and up-to-date on all his essential vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPPx3, and Bordetella. He has been dewormed and is on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He will also be microchipped and receive a fecal exam and a certified Health Certificate within 10 days of his transport date.
Training & Support
Aspen is crate-trained and is a smart boy who should learn leash manners and house training quickly with consistent guidance. He'll benefit from a patient family ready to support him through his puppy milestones.
