Meet Lucy Van Pelt, our intelligent and charming husky girl! True to her name, she's a smart cookie with a heart of gold and a whole lot of personality. Her foster family, experienced with huskies, says she's the smartest one they've ever had! With her striking blue eyes, she might seem a bit judgy at first glance, but she's actually an incredibly loving and devoted companion. Lucy is a healthy 4-year-old, weighing around 45 lbs. She's highly treat-motivated and has already shown amazing progress in her obedience training, eager to continue learning. She's also house-trained and up-to-date on all her vaccinations.
Lucy came to us from a challenging situation; she was surrendered due to a skin condition and was at risk in a municipal shelter. Thankfully, we were able to pull her out and provide her with a loving foster home. Her skin is healing beautifully, and she's thriving on a healthy diet, enjoying fresh snacks like apples and cucumbers.
Ideal Home
Lucy would thrive in a home with a structured routine that includes plenty of exercise, like two 45-minute walks and a 30-minute play session daily. She's great at pacing herself and enjoys quiet time on her bed or watching the world go by from the deck. She'd do best in a home where someone works from home or with other dogs to keep her company during the day.

Lucy's skin condition is healing well with a proper diet. She is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.
Training & Support
Lucy is a quick learner and incredibly focused. While she can be vocal when excited about food or if dinner is late, she is a polite hostess and doesn't bark at visitors. She's already living harmoniously with another dog and has shown positive initial interactions with cats, making her a great candidate for a multi-pet household.
