Everyone meet Jo! She's a delightful Dachshund mix, about 3.5 months old and weighing between 8-11 pounds, with a potential adult weight of 20-30 pounds. Jo is a happy, bouncy, and playful pup with a touch of mischief that's sure to bring lots of laughter into your home. She's ready to embark on her new life and show you what it means to have a happy home filled with love, care, and guidance.

Ideal Home

Jo would thrive in a home with people who have previous or current pets and are committed to annual veterinary visits. Given her age and playful nature, she is expected to be good with children, dogs, and cats.

Ongoing Health

Jo has had her initial vet check, is current on vaccinations and dewormings, and has been treated with prescription flea and tick medication. She has also been spayed. She will need to be taken to our vet's office in Adams, NY, for any additional care needed prior to final adoption.

Training & Support

As a puppy, Jo will need socialization and basic training to help her grow into a well-behaved companion. With the right guidance and a loving environment, she's sure to blossom.

Transporation

Jo is located in Adams, NY. Foster to adopt placements are limited to within an 80-mile radius of Adams, NY. Pets must be viewed in person by all family members, and any resident dogs must attend the meet-and-greet to ensure compatibility. Pets will not be shipped; transportation to our vet's office in Adams for care until adoption is required.
