Meet Feather! This gorgeous 2-3 year old Australian Shepherd and Pit Bull mix was found as a stray. After a thorough search to find her owners yielded no results, she was brought to us for help in finding her a new loving family. Now, Feather is enjoying life in her foster home while she awaits her forever family. Feather is a big, fluffy girl who loves to give and receive affection. She can be a bit shy and nervous around new things at first, but she quickly melts into your arms once she feels comfortable. She gets along well with other dogs, walks nicely on a leash, and would much rather be indoors with her people than out exploring. Feather is diligently working on her manners and is patiently waiting for the perfect family to sweep her off her paws and take her home. We promised Feather that the rest of her life would be the best of her life. Could that be with you?

Ideal Home

Feather prefers to be indoors with her people and would likely do best in a home that can provide her with plenty of indoor companionship.

Feather has been spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Feather is working on her manners and is house-trained. She is dog friendly and walks well on a leash. She can be shy and nervous of new things initially, but she warms up quickly and becomes affectionate.

Transportation

Feather is located in New York and can be transported to the northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We offer local or virtual meet-and-greets once an application is on file.
