Summer

Summer is a 7-year-old pup whose world was turned upside down when her family lost their housing and had to surrender her to a shelter. The shelter environment was frightening for her, and her attempts to return to her family resulted in injuries. Thankfully, Miracle Lane Farm Sanctuary stepped in to save her and brought her to a foster home. Now that she's settled, Summer is ready to find her forever family. She loves cheese and is eager to show off her tricks to earn it. She enjoys all kinds of walks and loves to play with rope toys for short bursts before settling down for a nap. Summer is very affectionate, loving, and accepting of new people. Her foster auntie describes her as incredibly well-behaved – she doesn't bark at unusual sounds or strangers, is fully potty trained, walks well on a leash, and comes when called. She loves with all her heart, but does get sad when left alone, a behavior her foster auntie is helping her work through.

Ideal Home

Summer does well with older children and cats. She prefers to be the only dog in the home, as she dislikes sharing attention.
