Aspen

Aspen joined us in 2023 after his musher sadly passed away from cancer. He can be a bit shy at first, but once he gets to know you, his sweet nature shines through! Aspen is a spirited pup looking for an active family to share his adventures with. Being on the younger side, he has plenty of energy and would thrive with lots of exercise. He's not a fan of other male dogs, but he's generally good with female dogs.

Ideal Home

Aspen would love an active family that can keep up with his exercise needs. He's still learning about the world of indoor living, so patience and guidance with house-training and new stimuli like stairs, cars, vacuums, and wood floors will be key. As a sled dog, he's bred to run and is a high flight risk, so he'll need to be on a leash or in a securely fenced yard at all times until his recall training is solid.

Training & Support

Aspen is getting used to indoor living and will need continued house-training and exposure to common household items. He's also a sled dog, so consistent leash use and secure fencing are crucial due to his high flight drive.
