Rico

Rico is an almost 2-year-old, 62 lb male Hound/Rottie mix who is as sweet and hopeful as they come. He was sadly abandoned when his family moved, but thankfully, the neighborhood and then a loving foster family stepped in. Rico quickly bonded with the other big dogs in his foster home and loves to play with them. He's a cuddly companion once he's comfortable, though he can be a little shy with new people due to his past. He's already mastered potty and kennel training and walks nicely on a leash. Indoors, he's a happy couch potato, but outdoors, he's a ball-chasing, bubble-popping, romp-around enthusiast!

Ideal Home

Rico would be happiest in a home with a fenced yard where he can safely explore and relax.

Ongoing Health

Rico has a bum rear leg that sometimes causes him to limp or sit a bit funny. However, this doesn't seem to cause him pain and doesn't stop him from enjoying life!

Training & Support

Rico is potty and kennel trained and walks well on a leash. He enjoys toys but isn't destructive. He's a good indoor companion who loves to snuggle.

Rico is currently located in South Texas. He can be transported to his new home within the United States and Canada. Our organization delivers to multiple states on the East and West Coast.
