Dexter

Hi friends! I'm Dexter, an ~5-month-old mixed breed who made the journey to Yappy Tails from Louisiana. I currently weigh about 25 lbs, and my foster family estimates I'll be around 50 lbs when I'm fully grown. At first, I can be a little reserved and shy when meeting new people, but don't worry, I warm up quickly! Once I get to know you, I become your best friend and love to hang out while you're watching TV, working, or just relaxing. I also really enjoy the company of other dogs, no matter their size!

Ideal Home

I'd love a family that is committed to providing me with daily exercise and continued socialization. I thrive on playtime and then a good nap, and I settle down nicely after my energy is spent.

Ongoing Health

I am neutered, vaccinated, and on monthly preventatives.

Training & Support

My foster family is working on teaching me good manners, and I'm a fast learner! However, accidents can still happen, so my forever family will need to continue my training and help me with socialization.
