Hello, I’m Hazel, an American Bulldog mix with a white and tan coat and a big smile. I’m a playful and sweet girl who loves to have fun and cuddle with my people. I’m house and crate trained. I get so excited to go for walks, and I’m very strong, which means I can pull hard. I need an owner who can handle me and teach me some manners.
I’m good with other dogs, especially mellow ones. We don’t know how I feel about cats, but I can be cat-tested if you'd like. I have a lot of energy and I like to run around and play with balls. Because of my size, any kids in the home would have to be older (over 10). But I also like to relax and nap in my own space. I have a large kennel where I feel comfortable and safe. I don’t like to be outdoors for too long and prefer to be inside with my people. I’m afraid of being abandoned, so I don’t like to go far from home or my people.
Ideal Home
I would do best in a home with older children (10+) and potentially mellow dogs. I can be cat-tested if needed. I prefer to be indoors with my people and do not like to spend extended time outdoors. I am also anxious about being abandoned, so I prefer not to go far from home or my people.
Ongoing Health
I have some digestive issues and require a special diet of lamb and rice.
Training & Support
I am house and crate trained. I can pull hard on walks and need an owner who can teach me leash manners. I need to be crated when unsupervised as I may chew on things.
