Wolfie is a handsome and unique about a year old, 63 lb boy with a personality as captivating as his striking, coyote-like looks! He's a very people-friendly pup who has shown no issues with children, cats, or other dogs. Wolfie is an athletic and high-energy companion, rating an 8 out of 10 on the energy scale. He truly loves life, enjoying active adventures, joyful play, and of course, plenty of affection! He’s a big baby who absolutely soaks up kisses, hugs, and snuggles. Wolfie is also a gentle soul, taking even high-value treats with a soft mouth. Despite spending a good portion of his life in isolation, he's incredibly smart, already knows how to sit on command without training, and is very attuned to communication. He thrives on interaction and lives by the mantra of "no crumb left behind," showing a very high food drive, though he'll choose a walk or adventure over a treat any day! Wolfie dislikes being cooped up and is eager to explore the world.
Ideal Home
Wolfie would do best with an active family or an individual/couple who enjoys activities like hiking and is eager to engage with him. He's not thrilled about being confined and would benefit from a home environment where he can explore and be active.

Training & Support
Wolfie has never lived in a house before, so familiarizing himself with indoor living will be a new experience. We anticipate he would adjust well with a slow introduction and consistent structure to his day. While he keeps his kennel clean, teaching him house-training will be a new learning curve. He walks well on leash; initially, he's excited and wants to explore, but once he's had his fill, he follows instructions and is not a strong puller. He is well-behaved in the car.
