Waldo Whereabouts

Waldo is a 7-year-old Chihuahua who has truly blossomed into the sweetest companion. He came to us after his owner passed away and was understandably overwhelmed and scared at the shelter. Thankfully, his foster home has been a wonderful place for him to decompress and show his true colors! Waldo is now a tail-wagging, shadow-following little guy who loves to be by his person's side. He's also doing great with his house training! He has even made a canine friend in his foster home and enjoys playing with the other dog.

Ideal Home

Waldo takes his role as a protector very seriously and will alert you to anyone passing by. He can be protective of his person and may try to nip at guests' ankles, so he needs an experienced owner who understands Chihuahua personalities. He would do best in a home with another small dog to befriend and would prefer to avoid homes with small children or frequent visitors.

Training & Support

Waldo is food-motivated, which will be a great asset in building his trust. We offer a 2-week foster-to-adopt trial period to ensure he adjusts well, and we're flexible if more time is needed.
