Zigmund is a charming Wirehaired Dachshund mix, estimated to be born around April 5th, 2026, and currently weighs about 11 lbs. He's a spirited pup who is ready to find his forever home!

Ideal Home

We're looking for a patient and loving home that understands that Zigmund is new to our rescue and we don't have much information about his past. A home that is prepared for the joys and responsibilities of adopting a young dog would be a wonderful fit.

Ongoing Health

Zigmund will be neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his shots, including rabies, prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Zigmund is not yet house-trained. We recommend continued positive reinforcement training to help him learn the ropes in his new environment.

Transporation

Zigmund is currently located in the Houston, Texas area. Transport to Burlington, WA will be arranged once an application is approved and the adoption fee is paid. He will be at a local adoption event in Burlington on Sunday, July 26th, 2026, from 10 am to 5 pm at PetSmart, 1969 Marketplace Dr., Burlington, WA 98233.
