Rita

Rita is a 7-year-old, spayed female Staffordshire mix who weighs 58 lbs. She's an absolute sweetheart, the perfect moderate-energy companion who loves to cuddle and play. Rita is happy whether she has doggy siblings or is the sole focus of her family's affection. She has been respectful and playful with other medium to large-sized dogs and enjoys a good romp followed by snuggles. Rita’s ideal day involves plenty of affection, playtime with her toys and family, and car rides – she even enjoys pup cups! She is already crate-trained, potty-trained, and leash-trained. While Rita hasn't met children or cats in our care, her playful and silly nature shines through once she warms up, despite a shy start. She was rescued from an overcrowded shelter but remains loving and eager to find her forever home.
