Cookie

Cookie is an 11-year-old Maltese mix who is looking for a loving home to spend his golden years. He came to us from a shelter in Virginia after being found as a stray. Cookie was severely matted and appeared to have been on his own for some time. Now that he's had a good grooming and some TLC, he's ready to find his forever family. Cookie is a very mellow, couch potato type of dog who wants nothing more than to be by his people's side. He loves to be held and will happily sleep in your bed right next to you. While he is crate trained, he prefers to be out and about with his family.

Ideal Home

Cookie would thrive in a home where he can be close to his people. He gets along well with both cats and dogs and shows no reaction to them.

Ongoing Health

Cookie recently had a grooming session with our vet. He will need to be sedated for future grooming appointments, as he becomes uncomfortable when his face or paws are shaved.

Training & Support

Cookie is housebroken and does well on a routine. He has had a couple of accidents, but he has managed to use the pee pad.
