Hi, I'm Goody! I'm a charming 5-year-old Greyhound who's happily retired from the race track and from being a brood mama. Turns out, chasing toys in the yard and lounging around the house is way more my style! I'll be celebrating my 6th birthday on June 20th. I'm currently living with a wonderful foster family and learning the ropes from my two Greyhound foster sisters. I love spending time in the backyard, exploring and playing with toys, and I even drag them to my pillow or outside. I enjoy playing with my sisters but can get a little bossy, though I'm very easy to redirect and am a good listener. I'm also a pro at leash walks and love strolling the neighborhood, sniffing all the smells, and spotting squirrels! I've met kids and get along well. I can't wait to meet my forever family! If you're looking for a sweet, playful, and gentle companion with a touch of zoomie energy, I might just be for you!

I'm looking for a cat-free home because I tend to be a little too interested in them.

Training & Support

I'm crate-trained and do great in my kennel while my foster mom is at work—no accidents, no fuss, and I'm super gentle with my blankets.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• You must have an approved application before meeting any dogs.
• The adoption fee is $300.00, which covers spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, parasite treatments, teeth cleaning, microchip, and microchip registration.
• You will also receive a special sighthound collar and leash set, and a muzzle.
• There is a $30 non-refundable application fee.

Transporation

I am currently being fostered in the Des Moines Area and am ready for my next big adventure—hopefully with you! Adopters must be committed to meeting me in the area I am being fostered. We do not ship dogs.
