Rocky P

Rocky is a friendly, sweet, and low-energy 6-year-old, 90 lb pit bull mix who was rescued from Houston, TX after being found abandoned and hungry. Despite his past struggles, Rocky is an easy-going and well-behaved companion. He's already crate-trained and house-trained, and he enjoys going for walks on a leash. He loves to be indoors and is generally a good boy.

Ideal Home

Rocky's ideal home is one where he can have his own space and food bowl, as he can be protective of his food due to his past. He gets along well with large dogs, especially females, and is also good with cats. While he enjoys resting, Rocky does need more activity and longer walks than his current caregiver can provide. He's looking for a best friend who will ensure he gets the exercise he loves.

Ongoing Health

Rocky is neutered and vaccinated. He is heartworm negative (HWN).

Training & Support

Rocky is house-trained and crate-trained. He can be protective of his food due to past abandonment and neglect, so he should have his own dedicated bowl and feeding area. He would benefit from a home that can provide him with more regular and longer walks to meet his activity needs.
