Leroy

Meet Leroy! This sweet 10-year-old Bluetick Coonhound is a true gem, despite having a bit of a rough start. Leroy was surrendered to us through no fault of his own. He lived a happy life with his original owner until her passing. He then moved in with her brother, but unfortunately, that owner is now also undergoing cancer treatment and can no longer care for all of his senior dogs. Despite these life changes, Leroy remains a happy, fun-loving soul! He still enjoys exploring the outdoors, sniffing every interesting scent, and generally having a good time. He's dog-friendly and seems to have some household training. This lovable goofball is ready for his golden years filled with love and comfort. We promised Leroy that the rest of his life would be the best of his life. Could that be with you?

Leroy would thrive in a home where he can enjoy his golden years with a loving family.

Leroy is a senior dog, and while he has no currently noted health conditions, senior dogs may require extra attention and care as they age.

Training & Support

Leroy seems to have some household training, but it's always recommended to continue reinforcing good habits.

Transporation

Leroy is located in South Carolina and transport to the northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their new companion. We offer local or virtual meet-and-greets once an application is on file.
