Ginger is a resilient and gentle soul with a heart full of love, still dreaming of her forever home. Rescued from the streets of Houston with her puppies, Ginger bravely battled distemper. Though the virus initially impacted her mobility, her incredible foster's care helped her fight back. Now, over a year into recovery, Ginger is a happy and agile girl, enjoying zoomies and playtime with her dog friends. You might notice some residual jerky movements, but they don't stop her from having a blast! Ginger forms deep bonds with her people and loves to be by your side, whether you're busy or just relaxing. She especially adores canine companions and gets along well with dogs of all ages and sizes, her favorite activity being a good game of chase. Ginger is a quiet and shy girl with an adorable personality, offering calm companionship that will surely steal your heart. Her soft, silky coat is even more beautiful in person, and her loving nature makes her incredibly easy to fall for. We're searching for a family who will cherish her boundless love and provide the forever home she deserves. We offer trial periods for potential adopters.

Ginger is a survivor of distemper and has some residual tics and jerky movements. She has regained her strength and mobility and enjoys running and playing.
