Akira is a 5.5-year-old spayed female Staffordshire mix weighing around 60lbs. This sweet girl was saved from euthanasia with mere minutes to spare and has been patiently waiting for her forever home for nearly nine months. She's a big love bug who thinks she's a tiny lap dog, always ready to lounge and snuggle with her favorite person. You'll often find her snoozing on a comfy dog bed until it's time for a walk. Akira is a fantastic listener, follows commands well, and takes treats incredibly gently. She keeps herself entertained by chewing on bones or tossing her stuffed toys from her bed, then jumping down to retrieve them. Akira adores people and enjoys the company of calm, submissive pups, but she would also be perfectly content as the sole canine companion, as her ultimate dream is to be your one and only. This kind-hearted girl is ready to shower her forever best friend with a lifetime of unconditional love!

Transporation

Akira is currently in Houston, TX. She can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is lined up. Transports run every few weeks, and she will be on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time.
