Bix

Bix is a sweet, little Chihuahua mix with a big story and an even bigger heart! He was rescued from a difficult hoarding situation and, as you can imagine, was quite fearful when he first arrived. Bix has made incredible progress and now trusts his caregivers enough to approach for treats. While he's not a fan of being picked up or held, he truly blossoms when he's settled on a human lap and even enjoys gentle pets. He's looking for a patient and understanding family who will respect his boundaries and give him the quiet, loving home he deserves.

Ideal Home

Bix would thrive in a calm and quiet environment where he can continue to build his confidence. He would greatly benefit from having another, more confident dog in the home to help him learn and adjust.

Bix is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Bix is still working on building his trust with people and prefers not to be picked up or held initially. However, once he feels comfortable and settled on a lap, he enjoys touch. Patience and understanding are key to helping him feel secure.
