Matt and Gumdrop are a bonded pair of tender-hearted boys who came from a home where they didn't have much individual attention. They are enjoying every minute of learning what it's like to be treasured friends, spending their time observing their foster family and learning from them. They've discovered a love for bath time, grooming, and even tolerate nail trims! They were recently neutered and are working on their potty manners, so they'll need belly bands and potty pads as they learn the routine of their new home. These gentlemen will do best in a quiet and calm home with a family that has the patience and understanding they need as they adapt.
Ideal Home
A quiet and calm home is ideal for Matt and Gumdrop. Due to the quick and unpredictable nature of young children, they would do best in a home without children under 12 years of age.
Ongoing Health
Matt and Gumdrop recently received a Senior Wellness Exam with bloodwork. Matt was neutered and received a dental with a full mouth extraction. Gumdrop received a dental with a full mouth extraction. A soft food diet is recommended for both boys. Matt and Gumdrop are neutered, microchipped, and up to date on their vaccines. Gumdrop is 10 years old and weighs 6 pounds. Matt is 8 years old and weighs 5 pounds.
Training & Support
Matt and Gumdrop are working on their potty manners and will need belly bands and access to potty pads as they learn the routine of their new home. They have come such a long way and will need patience and understanding as they adapt to a new environment.

Transporation
Matt and Gumdrop are located in Snohomish County, WA. There is approximately a 200-mile adoption radius from Stanwood, WA for senior dogs. We do not adopt out of state except to the Vancouver BC area. We do not ship dogs. Canadian adopters must be able to come to Stanwood, WA to pick up their dog.
