Hello there! I'm Gemma, a beautiful 3-year-old, spayed female Pitbull Mix with a heart full of hope. I've been patiently waiting for my perfect person for nearly 18 months, and during that time, the wonderful team here has helped me blossom. I've overcome a difficult past, including being starved, beaten, and abandoned, and with their love and the help of amazing volunteers, I've become the confident and loving dog I am today. I'm ready to show the world just how special I am, and I know my unicorn owner is out there!

Ideal Home

I dream of a home with a big backyard, perhaps even some acreage where I can stretch my legs and feel secure. I tend to connect better with women and would prefer a home without children.

Ongoing Health

I have been spayed and am up to date on vaccinations. I am currently healthy and thriving, thanks to the care I've received.

Training & Support

I am house-trained. While I'm a wonderful dog, my past experiences have made me cautious. I may need a little extra time to warm up to new people, and I prefer women over men. Children are not the best fit for me. I believe with a few visits and some patience, you'll see just how amazing I truly am.
