Hi, I'm Misty Mae! I'm a 38lb Retriever, Spaniel, and Carolina Dog mix with an estimated birthday of May 14, 2023. I'm a gentle soul with a heart full of love, and I was rescued from a gas station. I'm looking for a sweet, loyal best friend to be by my side. My foster family says I'm a wonderful house guest – I'm housebroken, kennel trained, and love a routine. I'm also pretty smart and food-motivated, so I'm always excited to learn new things, especially if snacks are involved! I love spending time with my people, whether we're going for a walk, running errands, or just relaxing at home. I have a playful side, but I'm just as happy soaking up affection. When I first arrived in foster care, I was a little unsure, but with patience and love, I've been gaining confidence. I get along well with small dogs and appreciate slow introductions when meeting new canine friends. Larger dogs can sometimes feel overwhelming for me, so I'd love a family that understands this. More than anything, I'm looking for a forever home where I can continue to blossom, feel loved, and make my family smile.

Transporation
Misty Mae is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee, and may include pickup locations in nearby towns or states, as well as to Eastern and Western states from Texas. We coordinate with third-party ground transport services. Adopters can track their dog's journey using the Life360 app or via Facebook chats.
