Sable

Say hello to Sable, a two-year-old Retriever mix who is the epitome of moderation! Weighing in at 55 lbs, she's the perfect medium-sized companion. Sable has a medium energy level, happy with daily strolls or playtime in a yard. She's not a fan of dog parks, preferring to socialize with known companions. Sable is also cautious around cats, viewing them as mythical creatures. She gets along well with humans and most dogs, though she prefers dogs with good manners. Sable appreciates routine, enjoys snuggles, and can sometimes act as a "mom" to other dogs. She is mostly trained and enjoys her personal space when alone. Sable is looking for a stable home where she can bond and grow with someone who values routine as much as she does.

Ideal Home

An apartment with a patio or a suburban backyard would be great for Sable. She prefers a calm environment and is looking for a home with children 10 years and over.

Sable is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to her forever home by the rescue. Transports depart weekly.
