Meet Acadia! Acadia is a 2-year-old Shepherd mix weighing just 45 pounds. This sweet girl came to the shelter with two puppies she lovingly cared for, showing what a devoted and nurturing mama she is. Poor Acadia arrived with her body completely shaved and is feeling timid and overwhelmed in the shelter environment. Despite being scared, she is incredibly gentle and affectionate. All she wants is to cuddle up next to you, rest her head in your lap, and feel safe and loved. She can pull on leash right now, likely because she’s nervous and unsure of her surroundings, but her kind nature shines through in everything she does. She takes treats with the softest manners and melts into affection whenever given the chance. Acadia is a gorgeous girl with a heart of gold who deserves a family that will give her the love, security, and care she’s been waiting for.
