Tootsie Roll Your Happy-Hippo

Tootsie Roll is a wonderfully mannered, affectionate, 60 lb pittie mix, estimated to be around 8 years old. She doesn't demand attention, but her gentle expressions and warm presence easily draw you in. Tootsie is a quiet, steady companion who understands how to live in a home and makes every day better. She's a cozy, snuggly, slow-paced girl who truly believes she's a lap dog, especially if blankets are involved.

Ideal Home

Tootsie would thrive in a home that appreciates her slower pace. She enjoys a yard for exploring and sunbathing, but long, fast hikes are not her style. She is non-reactive in public and enjoys visiting coffee shops, settling down once introductions are made. While she coexists beautifully with other dogs and would enjoy a calm, respectful canine friend, she doesn't need one to feel complete, as people are her favorite! She does have a passion for lizards, which may not bring your flower beds the same joy.

Ongoing Health

Tootsie is fully vetted and her health is of utmost importance. She is up-to-date on all vaccinations and preventative care.

Training & Support

Tootsie is fully potty trained, crate trained, and respectful of home boundaries. She knows commands like sit, down, paw, and wait, and takes treats gently. She settles beautifully, sleeps through the night, and can be left alone for a few hours without issue. She rides wonderfully in the car and transitions easily between activity and rest, requiring no constant management.

Transporation

Tootsie is currently in Texas and can be transported across the US through our internal transport service. An additional $87 surcharge will apply for transport.
