Gary

At 14 years old, Gary is a 15-pound Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua mix who is officially ready to retire. He's now reviewing applications for the perfect cozy forever home. Gary's retirement goals include short, leisurely walks, a respectable toy collection, and reliable snack distribution. He is incredibly people-oriented and thrives on companionship. If you work from home, are retired, or simply love being around your dog throughout the day, Gary would consider that a major qualification. He doesn't want a party house - he wants a peaceful headquarters where he can relax, feel secure, and keep an eye on his favorite person. As a senior gentleman, Gary prefers a slower pace. He can be a bit anxious and would do best in a calm home without children under 16. He currently coexists politely with another dog and mostly does his own thing, so a respectful canine companion could be fine, but he'd also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only. Gary was surrendered due to financial hardship, through no fault of his own.
