Joanie is the only female in her litter, and she and her brothers were rescued after they were found in a hole beneath an old tree at only two weeks old. She has grown up safe at our shelter and has become a bright, loving, confident pup. Joanie is playful, social, and full of charm. She enjoys people, loves attention, and has a wonderful mix of sweetness and spirit. She is healthy and thriving, and moving through her vetting and vaccination schedule. She is now ready for her forever home and will be a loyal, affectionate companion for a caring family.

• Approved adopters are matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home.

Transportation

Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. We adopt the majority of our dogs to the US and Canada. It can be challenging to secure Canadian flight angels during summer months so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable. We have successfully completed many adoptions over the summer with volunteers helping to bring dogs to their adopters at the border — this remains a great option to keep adoptions moving forward.
