Meet Dallas! This handsome 9-year-old German Shepherd, Boxer, and Hound mix is a smart, playful, and affectionate boy who is ready to find his forever home. Dallas is incredibly food motivated and knows commands like sit, speak, shake, and high-five. He even learns the names of his toys and treats, which is just one of the many reasons he's so special!

Dallas enjoys playtime but also cherishes his alone time, and a bully stick is his go-to for instant calm. He's a loving companion who has brought years of joy and laughter, and he's eager to share many more with his future family.

Ideal Home

Dallas would do best with experienced dog owners, and ideally as the only pet in the home. He can be leash-reactive around other dogs and people, but he absolutely thrives in supervised group settings such as doggie daycare.

Ongoing Health

Dallas takes trazodone twice daily for anxiety and a daily supplement for his hips and back. His bloodwork is current, and he is healthy for his age. He has a few lumps and bumps that his vet has monitored over the years and is not concerned about.

Training & Support

Dallas is a smart boy who already knows many commands. His food motivation makes him a great candidate for continued training.
