Gracie

Gracie is a very sweet, nine-year-old, 17-pound Bichon Frise who is searching for her forever home. She came to us when her devoted human mom had to move to a memory care facility. Gracie is a delight in the home, always happy to snuggle on the couch or in your bed. She loves belly rubs and will happily roll over for them. Gracie is a hypoallergenic breed and requires grooming every six weeks, which she tolerates very well.

Ideal Home

Gracie would love a home where she can be part of the family, enjoying cuddles on the couch and sleeping in your bed. She is good with other dogs and cats in the home. However, she does chase bunnies and birds on walks and can be reactive to dogs and people when out and about.

Ongoing Health

Gracie is a very healthy girl! She is spayed, up-to-date on all her vaccinations, and has been tested for heartworm and fecal matter. She is micro-chipped and on monthly heartworm preventative. Recently, she had bloodwork done, a full dental cleaning, and two teeth extracted.

Training & Support

Gracie is housebroken when kept on a regular schedule and crates quietly and easily. She enjoys going into her crate for meals. While she is a gem inside, managing her reactivity on walks is important. We believe that working with a trainer at any age can be beneficial for dogs.
