Meet Polly, a delightful 38lb Cattle Dog Retriever mix who embodies the spirit of a perpetual puppy with the sweetest disposition. She's spayed, vaccinated, and current on all preventatives, making her all set to settle into her forever home. Polly has a gentle, go-with-the-flow nature and loves being involved in whatever her humans are doing.

Ideal Home

Polly adores toys and playing with other dogs, showing a bouncy, happy energy during fun times. She's been around children aged 6 and up and has done well with them. While she loves playtime, Polly is also a low-energy girl who's just as content to relax and cuddle. She is affectionate and snuggly, enjoying close proximity to her people. Polly can be a little shy initially with new people but warms up quickly once she feels secure.

Polly is spayed, vaccinated, and fully up to date on all preventatives.

Training & Support

Polly is house-trained and crate-trained for up to six hours. She also does well in the car and has no issues with resource guarding or food aggression. She is currently working on her leash manners and may pull occasionally, but she is easy to manage due to her smaller size. Like many young dogs, Polly is still learning the rules of home life and will need a patient adopter committed to ongoing guidance. To prevent her from getting into things when unsupervised, she should be crated when left alone. With consistency and routine, she will continue to flourish.
