Cally is a 3.5-year-old, spayed female Pitbull mix who weighs around 40 pounds. She's a high-energy, happy-go-lucky girl with a huge heart and an even bigger personality. Cally is playful, affectionate, curious, and endlessly kind, bringing joy and laughter wherever she goes. She loves other dogs of all sizes and plays beautifully with both males and females, but would also be happy as an only dog with plenty of playtime. Cally is excellent with children of all ages and is very welcoming to strangers. She's fully crate trained, house trained, and does great in a car kennel. While she's house trained, she still needs supervision indoors to prevent her from chewing on shoes or blankets. Cally doesn't have separation anxiety and does best sleeping alone in her crate. She needs to be fed separately from other dogs due to mild food-related resource guarding, but this is easily managed by feeding her in her crate. Cally loves toys and enrichment and is very food motivated, making training fun. Her most charming traits include her big, silly smiles when receiving affection, her world-class cuddling abilities, and her spontaneous zoomies that resemble a baby goat.
Ideal Home
Cally thrives with at least two daily play sessions and opportunities to run. She would benefit from a home that can provide plenty of toys and a family willing to keep up with her energy and continue her training.
Ongoing Health
Cally is up-to-date on all vaccinations and has been spayed.
Training & Support
Cally may pull on the leash initially out of excitement, but she calms down with continued leash training. She needs supervision indoors as she is still learning to have full freedom and may chew on inappropriate items. She also needs to be fed separately from other dogs.
