Megatron

Megatron is a handsome 4-year-old Mastiff mix with a wonderfully outgoing, playful, and affectionate personality. He loves to romp with his dog friends and soak up the sun in the yard. Megatron is housebroken, knows basic obedience, and is happy to use a dog door. His previous owner passed away, and he experienced the trauma of losing his person and then being surrendered to a shelter. While Megatron is a perfect angel 99% of the time, he can get overstimulated in busy environments, which may lead to him acting out with chewing or being boisterous with other animals. His forever family will need to be understanding and continue to help him develop healthy coping mechanisms.

Ideal Home

Megatron would do best in a home with older children (12+) who have previous experience with giant breeds. He may be able to live with cats and female dogs over 60lbs, provided a slow introduction and supervision.

Ongoing Health

Megatron is fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, neutered, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Megatron is working on perfecting his leash training. His new family should be prepared to continue working with him on managing overstimulation and finding healthy coping strategies.

Transportation

Megatron is located at The Bullpen Way Station & Sanctuary. We work with adopters nationwide, but preference is given to those willing to do an in-person meeting.
