Josie - hound litter of 9

Meet Josie! She's a delightful 15-week-old hound mix (best guess) who currently weighs around 20 pounds. Josie is part of a litter of nine adorable puppies who were unfortunately surrendered to a high-kill shelter at just six weeks old. Their mama was kept, but her pups were discarded. We're hopeful she'll be spayed soon to prevent future heartbreaking situations. Josie is full of puppy playfulness, curiosity, and cuteness! She's a very friendly girl who loves meeting new people and enjoys splashing around in a kiddie pool with her canine and human friends.

Ideal Home

Josie would thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard where she can safely run and play as she grows. As a puppy, she will need patience as she learns house training.

Ongoing Health

Josie is up to date on her puppy shots. She will need to be spayed when she reaches the appropriate age.

Training & Support

Josie will need some patience and consistent training as she works on her house training.
