Hi there, I’m River! I'm a two-year-old, 37-pound pit bull and Australian Shepherd mix with a heart of gold and the cuddliest teddy bear vibes. I'm known for being gentle and sweet, and I'm even happy to let kids dress me up in hoodies just for fun! I love playtime, especially with rope toys and balls, and my absolute favorite treat is a Beggin Strip! I get along wonderfully with kids and other dogs and don't show any signs of food or resource guarding. I haven't been tested with cats yet, but we can arrange that if you'd like! My manners are pretty good, though I do get a little excited and might jump up, but a quick correction and I settle right down.

I will be neutered and fully vaccinated before joining my new home.

Training & Support

I am crate trained and walk well on a leash. I'm still working on potty training, but I'm a quick learner and am expected to pick it up quickly. I do jump up when excited, but a gentle correction helps me settle down.
