Meet Tundra! This gorgeous, purebred Rottweiler is a true sweetheart with a heart of gold, and as it turns out, a heart that's a bit unique. Tundra has a congenital heart defect, meaning her heart could stop at any moment. It's a difficult truth, but we believe it shouldn't stop her from living her best life to the fullest!
Tundra absolutely loves to play and is a quick learner, especially when tasty treats and fun toys are involved. She walks beautifully on a leash, and her calm demeanor makes her a perfect candidate for training new staff at our facility – she knows so many cool tricks! While she might be a little shy with new faces initially, a single treat transforms her into your best friend. Due to her heart condition, we do our best to keep her in low-stress environments, avoiding busy places and new exposure activities. She's happiest at home with her people or on gentle hikes. Tundra is crate-trained, housebroken, and forever young at heart. Please note that she cannot be spayed as she is unable to undergo anesthesia.
Ideal Home
We are seeking a responsible, adult-only home that can provide Tundra with a loving sanctuary for the remainder of her days. Her future is uncertain, but her capacity for love is immense, and she deserves to be the center of attention and showered with affection. She would do best as the only dog in the household, allowing her to be spoiled rotten and cherished.
Ongoing Health
Tundra has a congenital heart defect. As a result, she cannot undergo anesthesia and therefore cannot be spayed. Our rescue will cover all of Tundra's medical expenses for life.
