Kassidy

Kassidy is a sweet and resilient adult female dog, a mix of Border Collie and Labrador Retriever. She's had a challenging start to life, bravely overcoming parvo as a puppy. Despite two previous adoptions that didn't work out through no fault of her own, Kassidy remains optimistic and eager to find her forever home. She participated in the PAW Prison Training Program, where she excelled and formed a strong bond with her handler, learning a multitude of commands. Kassidy is a loving and intelligent dog who thrives when she's with her people.

Ideal Home

Kassidy would do best in a home where she can be with her family. She can experience some separation anxiety, but this is simply because she loves her people so much and wants to be near them. With patience and consistency, she can easily learn that her family will return. She is not destructive when left alone, as her only desire is to be reunited with her loved ones.

Ongoing Health

Kassidy is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. She is a survivor who bravely battled parvo as a puppy.

Training & Support

Kassidy is a highly intelligent dog who knows many commands, including sit, shake, down, lay, rollover, stay, come, heel, leave it, crawl, get it, and sit pretty. She can have some separation anxiety, but with a special person or family who understands her need for companionship and provides gentle reassurance, she will thrive.
