Meet Bolo!
Bolo has had a few recent transitions over the last months through different owners, and has finally found a place to land here at HSCC. After taking some time to catch his breath and find some stability, this beautiful boy is now looking forward to his next adventure!
Bolo is a very handsome young lad - at two years old, he is full of youthful energy and zest for life (and a little mischief)! Things you might find Bolo doing include: tumbling around outside, lounging in the sunshine, playing with his favorite toys, and spending time with his people. Once this boy lets you into his inner circle, rest assured you will forevermore have a loyal companion by your side. When Bolo opens up, he shows you his gentle, soulful side - full-body snuggles, face kisses, and belly rubs galore.
Since Bolo has been through quite a few transitions in his short life, he can be a little reserved when encountering novel people and experiences. If he is given the time and patience to know that he is safe, he quickly warms up! There is a lot this boy has to learn about the world, and would love nothing more than to go on this journey with a patient and understanding person by his side. Bolo has mastered the skills of telling you how he feels, when he is uncomfortable or confident, and exactly what he wants and when. A little patience brings a big reward with this friend - if you've been searching for a profoundly loving and meaningful relationship with a canine companion, then look no further!
Dogs: Bolo has been dog-tested while in the care of HSCC, and is dog social! As he is a young and rambunctious boy, he loves to be rowdy and could wrestle with his dog friends for hours. If you feel like his play style could be a good match for your resident canine, our staff would be happy to facilitate a meet!
Cats: Bolo's history with cats is unknown.
Children: Bolo is looking for a home without young children. He could do well with older teenagers and adults who can be respectful of his needs!
