Yume (in foster home)

Yume is a charming 5-year-old, 60-pound spayed shepherd mix with a heart full of playfulness. She adores running, playing fetch, and cherishing time with her favorite humans. Being both house-trained and crate-trained, she's a breeze to have around the house. Yume can be a bit reserved when meeting new people or in unfamiliar situations, but with a little patience and a lot of kindness, her sweet and delightfully silly personality truly shines through.

Ideal Home

Yume has successfully lived with another dog, but she can be particular about her canine companions and has a history of resource guarding with unfamiliar dogs. She would be happiest as the only dog in the household or with an experienced adopter who understands her needs. Yume is not a good fit for a home with cats.

Ongoing Health

Yume is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Yume is house-trained and crate-trained. While she can be shy initially, her sweet and silly side emerges with patience and kindness. Given her resource guarding tendencies with unfamiliar dogs, an experienced adopter is recommended.
