Vanna

Meet Vanna! Vanna is an approximately 4-year-old, spayed, and vaccinated German Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her personality. She's a playful, affectionate, and devoted "Velcro dog" who simply adores being by her people's side. Once Vanna bonds with you, her favorite place is right next to you, whether you're enjoying a quiet evening at home or embarking on an exciting adventure.

Ideal Home

Vanna would thrive in an active home where she can enjoy playtime and adventures. She's great in the car, making her an ideal companion for outings. While she's been trusted to free roam at home and isn't destructive, she just wants to be near her favorite humans. She is best suited as the only dog in the home. She may do well with older children (12+) who can respect her space and boundaries.

Ongoing Health

Vanna is spayed and vaccinated. She has experienced significant trauma and is actively working through some challenges, including negative behaviors around other dogs, resource guarding (food, toys, people), and occasional potty training accidents. She is crate trained.

Training & Support

Vanna needs continued support with leash manners. She is still polishing up her potty training. With patience, consistency, and understanding, she has so much potential to continue growing.

Transporation

Vanna is currently located in Texas. Transports run every few weeks, and she will be on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time.
