With a little continued guidance, Nina will thrive and become an even more amazing companion.

Nina’s journey hasn’t been easy. She spent her early years with a family who, due to a busy travel schedule, ultimately surrendered her to a Houston shelter. Facing the euthanasia list, Nina’s future was uncertain — until her foster mom stepped in and gave her a second chance. Since then, she’s been surrounded by love and care, and now she’s ready to find her forever home.

Nina adores her teenage foster brothers and her doggy pals. She loves playing fetch, tossing around her toys, and curling up on the couch for snuggles. While she’s affectionate and loving with her people, Nina would do best in a low-key home without frequent visitors. Her loyalty runs deep, and she takes her role as protector seriously.

Her foster mom’s favorite thing? “The way Nina looks at me — her eyes say, ‘What do you need from me?’ She’s always ready to give love, comfort, or just be by your side.”
