Fenris

Meet Fenris! He's a wonderfully goofy and lovable husky mix who came to us from a local shelter where he was struggling with kennel stress. Fenris has typical husky energy and just needed a chance to show off his playful and happy personality in a more relaxed environment. He absolutely adores humans and is always up for a game of fetch, a long walk, or a good snuggle session.

Ideal Home

Fenris would thrive in an active home that can keep up with his energetic nature. Because he experiences some separation anxiety and isn't a fan of his crate, it would be best for him to join a family that isn't gone for long hours during the day. Due to his puppy-like behaviors and tendency to be mouthy, children aged 7 and up would be recommended. A playful, larger doggie sibling would make Fenris very happy, but he could also do well as an only dog. He does play on the rougher side, so we recommend no cats.

Training & Support

Fenris is still working on some basic manners. He's learning to be more vocal about needing to go outside, which has led to a few accidents when a doggy door isn't available. He also exhibits some puppy-like tendencies such as counter surfing and chewing on non-toy items, as well as jumping on people. He responds well to correction and redirection, and with consistent training and positive reinforcement, we're confident he'll master these behaviors.
