Charlie is an energetic girl with a big heart! She's playful, fun-loving, and absolutely thrives with exercise and outdoor time. Charlie is learning recall and comes back when called on our property. She's loyal and listens well once her energy has been spent. She has a gorgeous coat with unique markings and is eager to learn, though she is still working on her training. Charlie has quite the story – she was on the euthanasia list at our local shelter after being returned three times. Families weren't prepared for her high energy, but once she was brought to us and given the time she needed, she blossomed. Charlie is a spirited girl who still has her "nutso" moments, like chasing squirrels or racing around with joy when she's first let out. However, with regular exercise and space to stretch her legs, she becomes calm, attentive, and responsive. She's even one of the few dogs we trust to roam our property because she listens and comes back with some recall. Charlie isn't perfect yet – she still barks more than some families might prefer, and she could use continued training – but she's also incredibly smart, affectionate, and ready to thrive with the right person. With consistency and love, Charlie is going to make someone very happy.
