Duchess

Duchess is a remarkable Doberman with a heart of gold. She was rescued from a high-kill shelter where her eyes were so severely infected that she was believed to be blind. Thankfully, our vet discovered that Duchess suffers from dry eye and the necessary treatment has allowed her to see again, though her vision may not be perfect. She patiently endures her twice-daily medicated eye drops and frequent artificial tears, and is learning to trust her foster family with her care. Once shy, Duchess now thrives in her foster home, enjoying playtime with other dogs and exploring the yard. Her greatest joy is human companionship; she longs to be devoted to her family and is a true ambassador for her breed. She is house-trained, knows how to use a doggie door, and will signal when she needs to go outside. Duchess is comfortable being left alone but would much prefer to accompany her humans on any adventure, especially car rides.

Ideal Home

Duchess would love a home where she can be by her human's side as much as possible. She is a fantastic travel companion and enjoys car rides.

Ongoing Health

Duchess has chronic dry eye and will require ongoing medicated eye drops and artificial tears. She is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations and preventatives.

Training & Support

Duchess is house-trained and will indicate when she needs to go outside. She is also comfortable using a doggie door.
