This 1-year-old Heeler mix is the total package: smart, athletic, loyal, and just mischievous enough to keep you smiling every single day. Lenny's story started like many in Texas, but thankfully, his luck changed when he entered foster care. Now this happy, thriving pup is ready to find his forever family.

Lenny is curious, energetic, and incredibly intelligent, always ready for his next adventure. He bonds quickly with his people and is eager to become your loyal sidekick. He loves to stay busy, whether it's hiking, playing fetch, learning new tricks, or simply following his favorite humans from room to room.

Ideal Home

Lenny is looking for an active home that understands the needs of his breed and is excited to help him continue growing into the amazing companion he's meant to be. He thrives with consistency, positive reinforcement, and a family that enjoys working with such a smart breed. He walks well on a leash and would love a family that enjoys staying active, whether it's hiking, running, obedience, agility, or simply daily walks and interactive games.

Training & Support

Lenny is eager to learn and highly food motivated, making training fun and rewarding. He enjoys having canine friends to wrestle and play with and would be happy to have another playful dog in his forever home, though it's not a requirement as long as he gets plenty of exercise, enrichment, and socialization. We do not know how he does with cats.

Transporation

Lenny is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, but is available for adoption in many locations across the country. Transport is available and included in the adoption fee.
