Dragonfly is a stunning 1-year-old husky mix who came to us with her sister after an unplanned litter. She was quite shy when she first arrived, but her true, playful personality has blossomed in her loving foster home! Dragonfly is fully housetrained, well-mannered, and a very smart girl. While she is currently scared of young children, she is improving daily and would do best in a home with teenagers and older. She walks beautifully on a leash, staying close to her person and often heeling naturally. She's also a natural retriever, completely obsessed with her ball, and her recent zoomies are a joy to watch! Dragonfly gets along well with other dogs and loves to play, though she prefers her own space during mealtimes. She's curious about cats but respects redirection and will leave them be when asked. Initially fearful of her foster dad, she has made incredible progress and now happily seeks him out for belly rubs and affection. Dragonfly is located in South Carolina and transport to the Northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. Local or virtual meet-and-greets are available with an application on file.
